Product Head - Traditional Channel - International Banking Group

Business Group: Remittances (International Banking Group)

Location: BKC / Andheri, Mumbai

Key deliverables:

Product and Sales Management of ICICI Bank's traditional remittance channels

- Maximize New Customer Acquisition (NCA) and Existing Relationship Value (ERV)

- Leverage Bank's sourcing channels - branches, call centre, overseas locations, digital for new customer acquisition

- Customer Lifecycle management for NCA / ERV for enhancing channel stickiness and minimizing attrition

- Business development for partnering external institutions

- Exploring, conceptualizing and building new product propositions

- Partner Customer service/ Operations team to build excellence in customer relationship management through standardized process and quality service across all channels of customer interface

- Analyzing MIS to ascertain product/channel performance and propose short-term and long-term strategies

- Understanding key business drivers and developing business plans in accordance with unit and company objectives

- Stakeholder management with regular engagement and influencing

Person Requirements


MBA with min. 7-10 years- experience in product sales & business development - preferably having managed a remittance product or having managed distribution channels


- Drive for results - ability to find solutions to constraints and not be deterred.

- Process orientation - ability to understand system functionalities and processes, making changes through effective project management to improve process efficiencies.

- Interpersonal effectiveness and ability to influence - ability to interpret data and articulate to convince others

- Team Effectiveness - Ability to work in a cross-functional environment

- Technical background preferred
